Baggage allowance
Company rules require name identification on the outer side of every baggage unit. However, it is recommended to put one inside too. You can get identity cards at ticket counters. Baggage that was already checked is subject to inspection. Remember that you may be required identification to claim your baggage. You mustn’t carry fragile or valuable items in checked baggage. This includes fragile electronics such as video cameras, laptops, photo cameras etc; fragile items of other kinds; jewelry and currencies and other fragile, valuable or perishable things that can be carried with passenger. ATA allows three pieces of checked baggage and one piece of carry-on baggage for domestic and two pieces of checked baggage and one piece of carry-on baggage for international flights. Baggage size is measured in linear dimensions and lbs in weight. Maximal allowed size for checked baggage must not exceed 62 linear inches and maximal allowed weight is 50 lbs per item. Remember, in charter flights maximal allowed weight is 44 lbs per piece. Carry-on baggage should not exceed 9x15x25 (H:W:D) and mustn’t be heavier than 40 lbs.
